Looking from the entrance to Convoy's Wharf, or the King's Shipyard as I prefer to call it, you can see the tower of St Anne's Limehouse. This Hawksmoor church sits on the line though the main avenue of Greenwich Park and is in a direct line from along Deptford High Street, so these lines cross at the church. Is this significant? You never know, especially where Hawksmoor is concerned, if stories are to be believed. The developers haven't noticed and didn't seem to believe me when I told them that you can see the tower from here. Anyway, once they start putting the present plans into action this view will disappear and the feeling of connection goes with it.
