St Anne's Graveyard

There is something mysterious and magical about the graveyard at St Anne's Limehouse, despite it proximity to Commercial Road - at one time in the distant past known as Rose Road. That in itself tells a story. The pyramid to the right is a mystery. Was it destined for the top of the building with a twin? Or does it serve some other purpose? St Anne's sits on the alignment of the main axis of Greenwich Park which continues to All Saints Church Blackheath and the Chislehurst Caves. Was this a conscious choice or coincidence?
