St Paul's on New Year's Day

On the morning of New Year's Day, I decided to go to St Paul's Cathedral. I felt it would be good to go to the focal point of some positive energy. I arrived just as the bells were ringing for evensong. I don't normally like church bells, but the bells of St Paul's are magnificent. The cathedral was full of people, a lot of tourists and some who came for the service. I sat through it all. At a certain point I felt something reminding me of Brussels. I thought of the church of Our Lady of Sablon and its links to the London Earthstar. Something in the atmosphere shifted. I looked across and saw for the first time a statue of female figure holding a laurel wreath over the bust of a man. It reminded me of the statue in the fountain next to where I stayed in Brussels with it gentle feminine energy.
