Stonehaven Beach

30 Aug 2018

Stonehaven beach where the river and sea meet, fresh and salt water mingles. Seagulls gather with the crows. The town council have built a barrier to redirect the river, a most likely contributor to the severe flooding in a storm a few years ago. Why tamper with nature? Some works of art adorn the pathway. This dolphin gives the appearance of being in water. An elegant work which rivals the Bruges whale.
