After our visit to St Bride's Church the previous day to bless two candles for our ceremony at St Blaise's Well, we gathered around the well and received a throat blessing as is the custom. We sang and blessed the well. On both days our group was joined by people who turned up just in time for our ceremonies. It seems much lighter than on my visit two days before.
